Very new and videos will not buffer (2 Viewers)

Hey all,

I could be doing something really stupid but I just downloaded the program and installed the online video plug-in. The videos show up fine but when I click on them they always get an error at around 2% and say the video could not be loaded.

I can, however, play the videos via Windows Media Player. Is there some sort of setting I need to do that I haven't? Or maybe some way to make the default play button be played through Windows Media Player?

sounds like a codec isse. Please post some logs here (as described in the link in my footer). Otherwise it is just guesswork.

Thank you for the reply. I attempted to reproduce the issue but starting the program in the debug mode didn't have the Online Videos" plug-in.

You will have to manually collect the logfiles if the problem is in 3rd party plugin.
Make sure log verbosity is set to debug in MP Configuration.
Start MP
Reproduce issue
Close MP
Zip the log directory

If it is a problem with that plugin, you should probably rather post it in the relevant plugin forum section.
