When i click on live tv the tv turns on i here the audio but the image is choppy and then Media Portal Really Slows down. Any help need it

Have you tried other codec's, like MPV/MPA etc. ?

i have downloaded MPV from Freecodecs as mpeg2decfilter_20060310 but don't know how to install it as .ax

MPV/MPA it's delivered woth MediaPortal, select this in MP Setup (Configuration) -> Television.

It's MPV Decoder filter, if you deselected this under installation of MP then try to reinstall it.

Disable timeshifting in the MyTV screen, this may resolve your choppiness.
