Video Folder thumnails being overwritten by IMDB Searchs! (1 Viewer)

hi. I have an issue with folder thumbnails if any one may be able to help. I'm currently using Xsafe skin. The problem is the folder thumbnails. I put 'folder.jpg' in the folder for the required image, in this case my kids films. Look in media portal it shows up in list view (and in XP thumbnail view) but not in any of the other icon/filmstrip view. Not to worried about this. When on to 'Brother Bear', downloaded the IMDB data. Got cover art, great! Unfortunately my folder icon is now that cover, in all views! Exit MP, still got my Folder.jpg that I want untouched. Delete the Skin cache, delete the windows thumb system file, even delete the 'Brother Bear' images from the MP thumbs folder. Still got 'Brother Bear' as the damn folder icon. What can I do? any help would be great!!

Some months ago, i faced the same problem. The solution is simple. Set the folder.jpg to write-potect. That's it ... More importent is to use a svn and not only the original version (i think you uses the 0.2.3.0). The behavior you describe, is a known bug of the original version. Watch this link
