Always when I stop the playback in the video section of MediaPortal I have no more GUI. I can only see the structure of my video folder but no gui data anymore. The funny thing is that I'm able to navigate in the gui. If I switch back to main menu sometimes the gui is painted new again sometimes it totally hangs up. It's also funny that I only have this problem in the video section. If I use TV, Moving Pictures Plugin or MPTV-Series I don't have this problem. I've also tried this with the standard skin, black glass skin and with the maya skin. There is always the same issue. Another thing is that it seems to happen with all video file types in the video section. I tried flv, ts, ts (hd), wtv. If I use these file types for example in MPTV Series everything works fine. Does MediaPortal use another renderer / codec in these plugins? At the moment I'm using VMR Renderer with exclusive mode because I've got stuttering with all other configurations. If I switch off exclusive mode for VMR Renderer or if I switch to EVR the problem with the gui doesn't occur. I found out that this is some kind of known issue: Known Issues - MediaPortal Wiki but the solutions described in the known issues section don't change anything. I registered a new version of the mpeg codec and it didn't help. I also tried many different codecs. (Microsoft DTV, ffdshow, MPV) but nothing helps. In some other thread which I haven't found again anymore someone said that I should'nt use VMR but without this I've got almost an equal amount of dropped frames like the amount of painted frames especially in hd-videos. I'm looking forward to your answers and to a possible statement if MediaPortal users should use VMR or EVR. Thanks for your help, hafblade
