Video issues (MP 1.00) (1 Viewer)

Greetings, i have problem : when in MP i use "my video" and choose any *.avi *.mkv (or mb all rest too) files i got screen full of artifats (all ok with sound). In option ffdshow as vide codec and coreavc as h264 codec. I recieve this problem after ,i belive, i install nVidia gf 8600 card into my 780G base amd motherboard. I instal it for some test. After deinstallation and erasing all nVidia drivers and software i found that my mediaportal wont start in autoloading (i mark auto start when window loading in configuration utility). I reinstall ati drivers (chipset,igp hdmi...). It wasnt work. I delete codecs (core and ffd) and try again. With *.avi it works, so i decide its codec problem. I download and install last version of codecs and try again. I have no result. So what can u advice me to do in this situation (i think its time to reinstall MP)?
M3A78-EM MB, 2 GB DDR2, 50GB WD Blue, win xp x86 sp3

Sounds pretty much like either driver issues or codec issues.
I am not sure reinstalling MP will make a difference.

Play around with different graphics drivers and different codecs is what I would have done.
Sorry I do not have more specific answers.

It looks like MP issue (i got kmplayer,mpc homecinema. All of them works correctly). But i dont know software to test video with my ffdshow codec (mb i need to install k-lite codec pack?)

reinstal wont work. Looks like software issue mb codecs...
