Video not resuming after fast forward (1 Viewer)

I was having a problem searching for this issue in the forum, so I thought I would create a new post.

I am running XP and MP 1.1.2. When I am watching a movie (via DVD or Harddrive) and I fast forward by 2x, 4x, etc.. and press play to resume the movie pauses. If I press play again the movie will start to play and then pause again within a second. If I press play enough times the system will lockup. Sometimes I can hit the pause button and the movie will resume, but I usually have to stop the movie and start it again. Has any else had this issue?

I don't know if it will fix the problem, but there have been improvements to fast-forward in MP 1.2.0 beta, so you might want to try it.

Also try skip back/forward (left/right arrow keys) to get out of the problem.

The skip back works, thank you. I have thought about going to 1.2 beta, but I have plug-ins working nicely on my main HTPC that are still in development to work with 1.2 beta.

I do have 1.2 beta loaded on my test machine and I really like the new look and the speed, plus the fast forward is working.

I would like to say thank you to all that put time into this project so people like me can enjoy a real HTPC experience.
