The sound keeps going and after a while the video tries to catch up - again only to freeze and stay that way. End up having to kill MP. The ironic thing was my old motherboard config actually worked quite well and it was an unsupported PIII !!! with hardly any RAM !! Just really slow GUI...so don't suggest I go back.&nbsp;&nbsp; I've seen similar posts around and have followed all the suggestions. I've tried changing out my GFX card (to a quadro 4) and sound card updating all the drivers along the way and no dice! Tried rolling back to MP 0.2.2 changing the playback options for audio&amp;video. - It does work using an external player (like VLC) but my MCE remote doesn't work and I don't want to go down the HIP path just yet.....Please help me conquer this beast!!My specs are below and I've attached a log. let me know if I've done this right, I'm new-ish to the forums...not so new-ish to MP.----&lt;
