TV-Server Version: 1.0.1 MediaPortal Version: 1.0.1 MediaPortal Skin: default Windows Version: vista ultimate 64-bit CPU Type: Athlon 64 3000+ HDD: 80G IDE internal and 500G USB 2.0 external with movies Memory: 1.5G DDR400 Motherboard: AV8 3rd eye Video Card: Geforce 6600GT Video Card Driver: vista default Sound Card: on board Sound Card AC3: Sound Card Driver: vista default 1. TV Card: Leadtek DVT 2000 H 1. TV Card Type: hybrid 1. TV Card Driver: latest MPEG2 Video Codec: MPC something MPEG2 Audio Codec: ffdshow h.264 Video Codec: ffdshow HTPC Case: pc case Cooling: 3 x case fans Power Supply: 450 watts Remote: Logitech MX Air TV: 47" LCD 1080p TV - HTPC Connection: DVI to HDMI cable Im not sure how to describe this, but I ran through the codec guide from this site following all the install and settings steps perfectly, now all videos I have play which is great (mixed formats) but with everything I play through MP or even external players have this weird kind of jump line across the screen when things move quickly on the screen, kinda like the top half of the screen has moved to the next frame leaving the bottom half behind, but only for a quick second. Only really bright and fast movement scenes this is more obvious and looks like its occurring multiple times on the screen. Only in the location where the fast movement is so its not an lcd problem (internal tv works fine) Could this be a processor/RAM issue? Perhaps a video driver? Note that im using the default drivers that vista gave me as when I tried to upgrade to the latest drivers for nvidia the screen went black and I had to reboot, after reboot I had no video drivers at all, had to then get vista to redetect and install the nvidia drivers it has itself. I was told that I should be able to play non HD video without a problem with a 1.8GHz single core cpu, 6600GT card and 1.5G ddr400, was I told wrong? If I try to play any 720p stuff the video will freak out an stop with my cpu going through the roof.
