I notice a nearly-predictable video stutter when adding/modifying/deleting recordings while watching timeshifted/live TV. For example, tonight I began watching a show on the History (HIST) channel at 23:00, then set MP to record the current program. For the next 2-3 minutes, the video intermittently stuttered (audio never changed). Pausing and playing seems to have stopped the stutter, for now.

This is the most exact example I can provide, but I also notice stutters occasionally, but almost every time I mess with scheduled or current recording (stop or start), stuttering commences. I looked at the logs tonight for the first time, and my error log sure looks suspicious.

MediaPortal.log and error.log attached.

Well, there is no way your error log should be that big. I'm not sure what that error is in there, but could you update to the latest svn? Whatever your problem is may have been fixed in the latest svn. If its not fixed there, post your new log and I'll take a look at it.

Updated to the latest SVN, same story. After about 5 minutes, the error log is packed full of that same error.

    *Bump*

Anyone have ideas? The error log is huge, every day, and I can't believe it doesn't have something to do with the stutters I'm experiencing.

I get the same issue as you sometimes.
I have not had a look at my log file yet but I'll go through it this weekend and see what it says.

Hi quiller, I've looked at the code, and i can't figure out why you're getting what you're getting. Can you uninstall MP, delete the MP directory, and reinstall MP. Don't install any 3rd party plugins or the tv server. Could you tell me if you get the same message? Thanks
