Video/Timeshift stop causes UI shift (1 Viewer)

I haven't attached a log because I'm not sure it will help with this problem.
problem:
When using DX Exclusive mode, stopping video/timeshift TV causes UI to shift.
steps:
1.enable DX Exclusive mode.
2. lauch MP
3. Start myTV
4. Enable Timeshift
5. Exit to main menu
6. stop TV video

notes:
if you substitute video for TV the same thing happens after following the remaining steps.

UI calibration displays different resolutions before starting video and after.

the UI jmp makes it hard to properly calibrate the UI to fit the screen since it changes.
