Message: <blockquote data-quote="RailBaron" data-source="post: 315477" data-attributes="member: 28956">A couple of quick comments.  First, I actually like the fact that the playback pauses when repositioning through a file (at least a .ts file).  I need to do more testing, but the behavior (in RC2) seems to be much like in 0.2.2.0, which several of us preferred.  I felt like I was playing whack-a-mole trying to set a mark at the right position when playback immediately started after bumping by a 1 second slice.Second, this was the first time I tried to edit on my new system config, including a dual-core AMD 5200+.  All seemed to work just fine for cutting the file.  As for converting .ts->.mpeg or .ts->divx/.avi, I think I need to chase down MCEBuddy, or chase down documentation on running mencoder manually.</blockquote>
