When editing a video, which i haven't done for a long time, i have to press play, just to get from the filename screen to the actual editor screen. Everytime i have moved the slider i have to press play again?

Is this intentionally? (If yes why and can it be changed by setup?
If no, then i will provide some logs :)

    Hi :)

I reported this before version 1.0.0 of MediaPortal. 2 years ago (back then I was not even a moderator yet).
I also identified the revision when it was changed:
Everytime I am pressing the right button to skip forward, the video pauses. This worked fine a few weeks ago.
    mediaportal-svn-06-22-2008--17-10-Rev19453.rar - Worked fine.
    mediaportal-svn-06-27-2008--19-25-Rev19510.rar - Does not work

Unfortunately we do not have developers with time to actively work on the VideoEditor. Therefore I do not think it will change anytime soon.

That's a pity. To cut a file and burn it to DVD was THE thing i was hoping would work better with a HTPC. Unfortunatly, it doesn't work at all (I don't want to mess up with the several "how to cut your files and burn them to DVD with just 12 different freeware programs"-threads - although the thread-openers mean it well).

I just hope, that some day (some week) a dev is in a good mood (locks himself in a dark room) and fixes this plugin to work again :)
(same for the DVD Burn plugin)
