New user here so apologies for lack of technical knowledge
Installed MP over the weekend and after much file renaming / database jiggery pokery I am very happy with the results.
However I have one specific problem.
I am running the MPStreams skin on MP 1.2.0
When I choose 'watch videos' I have 4 folders to choose from (different network shares accessed using ComTrend Power adapters from elsewhere in the house)
These are HD Movies (about 200), Kids HD (about 50), non HD kids movies (about 100) and non HD movies (over 1000).
Now each of these when clicked on responds relatively quickly to show the list view of the movies (10-20secs)
However the share with the 1000+ movies takes around 2 minutes from clicking to actually showing the list!
This happens even if I come out and go back in again - another 2 minute wait.
Is this purely down to the number of movies I have in there? And is there a tweak that it can remember the last list or something so it didnt happen every time?
Only other plug in I am using is myTV and it works great.
