View Type button missing (1 Viewer)

Suddenly my View type button on the Videos screen went missing.
(It was definitely there before.)
The button is actually there, but there is no text on it and it doesn't do anything.

I did a complete uninstall (clearing all data), then a reinstall - still missing.
(Server and client on the same machine).

Using a client on a different computer has no problems.

Using default Blue3Wide plugin.

What other info might you need to help me?

Accidentally I discovered something here, so probably it will help someone to understand and solve my problem:

Recently I've created a new video folder, added some video files into it and ta-dam: view type started working - but only in that particular folder.

I thought I've found the solution, so I've removed all my Video folders from MP, then added them again: no luck.

Another experiment:

Folder A, contains 5 videos, List type not working.
Created Folder B, copied all 5 videos to there, List type works
Deleted Folder A with all its content
Created Folder A (so it is totally empty)
Copied all videos to Folder A again, List type does not work.

Based on this I assume MP stores some path related info somewhere, which is corrupted for me. I would like to find and flush it, but I don't know where to search for it.

Any idea anybody?
