Hi people
Just a bit of feedback from my point of view using RC4 with a new install of Vista Ultimate 32.
Many people here talk about restoring old settings, this was not done by me, the only thing that went in was TV\Radio logo's into the thumbs folder, everything else, TV Tuning through to MP-TVSeries\Moving Pictures was set up afresh.
The main thing i have always found since TVserver creation, was it did not support my TV card (hauppauge T500) after resume from standby, this is something so well documented, just search T500 on the forum for more information.
Anyway always found a way round it, whether it was by using PVR-Scheduler, Powerscheduler reinitiliase tuner setting or MPStandbyHandler, one way or another got it successfully waking up and recording, until something broke it again.
New install RC4, no more standby problems, same drivers (they have not been updated in the last 2 years), only thing, I still have too set a 20 second delay before TVServer detects cards and that is it.
This post was done for some people who may have had a similar issue with their TV Cards, of whatever make, to try just using a new basic setup without the extra workarounds and see if you have the same success
This is also a Thanks to the MP Developers\Skinners especially harley who'se been working his socks of for us (mepo pun intended )
Thought i would just share my findings.
