I am running MP 1.0 under vista in an apartment with a VERY loud air conditioner. Under XP I used the volume control logarithmically to control the master volume, but I cannot seem to get this working properly in Vista. Using Vista volume control works ok but the dynamic range is to small for my particular circumstances. I have to constantly change the master volume using the keyboard to get the volume either suitably loud or suitably quiet. Any ideas?
