TV-Server Version: 0.2 (I believe, was installed with the current Stable download) MediaPortal Version: 0.2.2.0 Windows Version: Media Center Edition 2005 CPU Type: AMD 64 3400+ HDD: 160GB SATA Memory: 2Gb Motherboard: ATI Sapphire Crossfire Xpress 3200 (PC-A9RD580) Video Card: ATI Sapphire SLI X1050 256Mb PCI-E Sound Card: Onboard 7.1 channel 1. TV Card: Hauppage WinTV PVR-150 MCE Satelite/CableTV Provider: Cable - Virgin Media/NTL (UK) HTPC Case: SilverStone LC-10S M Power Supply: 600W jobbie Remote: SilverStone iMON setup TV: Dell 37" LCD (1360x768) TV - HTPC Connection: Currently Composite, but will change to Component later Hi, I've just been having a tough time with Media Center, and came across MediaPortal which I'm now liking lots. The problem I'm having is that although I can see the Composite input in the Hauppauge interface and even in the Media Centre preview, when ever I try and run MediaPortal I don't have a "My TV" option in the menu. When I click the Second icon in the top right menu (the TV Full screen I believe), it comes up with a message saying: "Live tv in Background" "No Video/TV Playing Make sure you use VMR9 and that something is p..." The end of the message is truncated. I have checked that I have the MCE 2005 Rollup and all the latest MS Patches. I've also downloaded the latest ATI drivers (v8.380.0.0) and DirectX9.0c is installed. I've added a channel for my Composite input, as the TV isn't coming from the tuner, and that seems OK, although there's no "Preview" to check. Could someone point me in the direction of a fix or workaround? Would love to make use of MediaPortal instead of Media Center if it works as well as I hope it will. If there's any info missing, just shout and I'll get it for you. :thx:
