Very new to VodServer, actually came across it by accident when looking for something that will do exactly as Vodserver is suppose to accomplish. I have set it up according to the instruction but for some reason I am unable to get any channel to play. Example
To test how things were going to go I went to my browser, with server running and entered
my vodserver is 192.168.1.4 port is 8001
http:/192.168.1.4:8001/ilive?url=http://www.ilive.to/view/48051 (this is for ESPN)
browser acts like it might do something then just blank browser screen. I know the above url works, I can go directly to it from my computer and another computer without going thru vodserver. I have tried almost every channel listed in xml file with same results but can go directly to url and watch without vodserver. I tried the HBO channel as shown in the example of channel xml but with no results. I am attaching the log for HBO try. Can somebody look at this and tell me if something is not setup correctly. It's not only for the ilive stuff but others as well. I really would like to get this to work.
