When i try to change volume up or down when viewing a movie, it doesn't work. I can see the volume bars growing in OSD but there is no volume changes. this was working in the past (a few SVNs ago) but i'm noticed the issue today, when viewing a DivX movie.

    hehe...

I will bet your a** that your are watching dolby digital movies right ? maybe a DD 2.0 stereo track.
If you do this all while using spdif/toslink digital out then you are unable to change volume in MP.

:sorry: Oops, you are right gibman, i don't know why but AC3 was checked in output sample format in ffdshow audio decoder configuration, i've turned it back to 24bit output and now it works fine. I'm sorry for reporting a total nonsense...

    regards,
