I have a bit of a strange problem with the volume control in MP. I have connected my HTPC to my LCD using HDMI. Both audio and video are sent out of the HDMI port on my ATI video card. My problem occurs if I switch off the LCD panel or if MediaPortal turns the panel off automatically. Once the screen is powered back on, the volume control in MP is ineffective. Although I can see the OSD going up and down, the volume level doesn't actually change. If I quit and restart MP the volume control becomes effective again but only until the screen next blanks. So... it seems that MP doesn't like the fact that the audio device goes offline when the panel is turned off. I thought I could work around the problem by using the analogue audio output on the PC but I get significant lip-sync problems, probably due to the HDMI 1.3 lipsync specification. So, my question is, can this be fixed? Cheers Mark [/QUOTE]
