Volume "hangs" (1 Viewer)

I have frequent problems with the volume-settings: I cannot turn the volume up - it just "hangs". I can turn the volume down but then it cannot bve turned up again.

Then, when I first start another function (e.g. change from tv to a video) the volume works fine there. When I then return to TV the works fine again.

Does anyone recognize behaviour this and if so, what can be done about it?

if you have windows vista, try to change scale in volume settings to Vista.

Vista, yeah, but I do not see the option Scale under Volume settings (I assume you mean in MediaPortal Setup?).

I do have:

- Startup (grayed)
- Style
- Control
- OSD

Am I running an older version here? How can I tell which version I am working with?
