Hello,
I have looked everywhere (including this forum) on how to do this...
I have an IBM ThinkPad T43 (XP Pro SP3) that I am using for Media Portal. Everything works great. I use a StreamZap Remote. I have been trying to figure out a way to wake up the PC once I have put it into sleep mode. I have done everything from playing with the Bios and setting the USB ports to stay powered on.
I can currently wake the Laptop by opening the lid and pressing the "FN" (Function Button). My goal is to keep it from being on for too long while still offering a convenient enough solution for my kids and wife to turn on.
I am willing to get a piece of external hardware or another remote.
Thanks in advance!
