    It's hard to come up with a meaningful title, sorry...

    I would like to make my MP+TVE3 to function in the following way:

    * PC is in standby mode and a recording is due to start
    * PC wakes up
    * Program is recorded
    * After the recording, PC should go back to standby but only if user has been idle for the duration of the whole recording. If user has committed any actions on MP, PC should not go to standby state before user selects so.

    Is this possible somehow?

    It should do this anyway using powerscheduler.

    Any user input should stop pc going into suspend (may be a problem if using vista), but xp works fine.

    If user has committed any actions on MP, PC should not go to standby state before user selects so.

    Not quite sure what you mean, if MPconfig open, or mediaportal running video\music (the option in MP's Powerscheduler or powerscheduler client, needs to be set at only "suspend in homescreen"), then the pc will not suspend anyway.

    Is this what you wanted to know.

    Thanks for your answer, some more details of what I'd like to achieve...

    The "suspend only in homescreen" could in some cases do the trick. However, I have selected the option that after suspend, MediaPortal should start with the last active module. In most cases this would be MyTV => thus after recoding MP should never go to standby if that option is selected?

    I'd like PowerScheduler to monitor whether user has committed any actions using keyboard, mouse or remote control during the scheduled recording. If she has not - and the PC was waken up to do the recording - PC should go back to standby after the recording has ended. Otherwise power should be left on.
