(piece of crap actually , due to very old driver from ASUS/SoundMax, of course ASIO is not supported)
What about Asio4all?

I tryed today - no success. moreover, it is not possible to choose ASIO from list in this test program.
By the way, what you about this device http://www.computerland.no/PartDetail.aspx?q=p:1099783;c:36133, may be with this adapter will be possible to get clear DTS audio output ?

    To clear any misunderstandings:
This test program has nothing to do with ASIO at all. It attempts to use the Windows AC3/DTS passthrough mode, which is used by DVD player software to drive the s/pdif.

Any device that is sold as supporting AC3/DTS passthrough, should support this mode. However from the test results sofar, it seems for many devices it only works for a sampling rate of 48000 (standard for DVD-AC3) and not for 44100, which is the standard for CD-DTS and also for the material provided by the links.

Apparently it is not the magic solution either....
