"Watch-dog" to schedule future recordings? (1 Viewer)

Hi!

I've just converted from Wellton Ways' MultiMedia Center (see http://www.welltonway.com). I find MP better than MMC in almost all aspects, including customization, plugins, GUI, etc.

The only piece I miss is the possibility to have a "watch-dog" that searches for future recordings in the EPG. In MMC I can define some keyworks, like "Harrison Ford". Whenever there is a program in the EPG with "Harrison Ford" in the description it will automatically schedule a recording.

This has proven to be very useful but I can not find a way to do the same in MP.

Any good suggestions out there?

Search the forums for Bavarian's "Personal EPG". I think that's pretty much what you want or can at least do parts of it.
