The method to open this mode is similar to the method to create Desktop effects in depth that ***********.com has mentioned before.
Step 1: Open VLC Media Player, click Media -->Open Network Stream (or use Ctrl + N key combination)
Step 2: Open Media opens, select Network tab, copy the directory of the Youtube video that you want to watch and paste it directly into Please enter a network URL box --> Play
The Youtube video will be displayed directly on the Desktop screen.
In addition to Youtube, this feature also allows you to watch videos which are shared on many other websites such as Dailymotion, MetaCafe or 4share.
If you do not want to use VLC Media Player to watch these videos, you can search and download other online movie players from ***********.com.
