Message: <blockquote data-quote="kiwijunglist" data-source="post: 527257" data-attributes="member: 76888"><p>mediaportal can be setup to use the pdvd codec if you like.  i find saf codec pack which uses mpc-videocodec to be better than pdvd, because it plays a larger range of videos. both are good.  the main difference is that mediaportal player is integrated and offers more features eg. if you click stop you can replay the movie from where you stoped etc.  if you use external player mediaportal will hide, pdvd will be maxmised, then when video playback stops mediaportal will automatically jump back into focus.  i understand you will need to use pdvd for bluray, but i recommend you try to use MP internal player for playing all other video</p></blockquote><p></p>
