Web Interface (1 Viewer)

I'd really like a web interface. Example: I'd like to sit on the couch with my iphone, and surf to the HTPC with MediaPortal installed on it, then select a song or movie to watch and have it play. No need for menus on the PC, only on the web.

This should be web based (or http based) simply so it can be used from any of my devices.

Is this possible? It would require a web server (or a dumbed down web server) (and could even have customizable CSS etc.).

There is a stand alone web interface written by a forum member, but this is mainly for setting recordings and viewing the EPG.

I dont't see why it couldn't be extended in time to cover the functionality you are looking for.

funny, i've already emailed him to talk about possibilities of doing just that.

My problem is learnning how to tell it to run a video file, other than that the website part should be easy.
