Webepg not grabbing German/Swiss channel data? (1 Viewer)

I've not used MediaPortal for a few weeks (months?), and when I turned it on recently, I noticed that although the TV guide is fine for UK channels, it doesn't display any data for any of the Swiss or German channels. This has been working fine for several years, I haven't changed the setup.

I ran a scan manually, same results. I then tried picking another source for the data, but none of the German or Swiss grabbers return any data. Watching the grabber run, it seems the channel returns no data (i.e. it's a grabber issue, not a display issue). I'm not an expert on the logs but it seems I'm getting timeout errors with the grabber. Current setup uses at least one channel for each of the CH/DE grabbers, I get zero data for all channels.

Has anyone experienced similar issues? Is there a solution to get my guide data back?

Thanks in advance, Gavin. .

I've been playing with my setup, still with no luck.

The current setup has WebEPG grabbing data for about 40 channels, about half of which are UK channels, all of whch work fine (using two different grabbing sites). The German and Swiss channels are grabbing at least one channel from each of the 3 Swiss and German Websites, plus one from an Austrian site. None of these return any data.

I find it weird that the UK sites work but none of the Austrian, German or Swiss do. Watching WebEPG do it's thing from within the TV config., it's clear that the grabber is getting data from UK channels. When it gets to a German or Swiss channel, it is searching but returns zero data. This seems to be confirmed from the SetupTV logs:

Any ideas out there?

I gave up on this, and turned on DVB-EPG for these channels. First impressions are that the DVB-EPG data is much improved versus what I was getting from WebEPG - for German and Swiss channels, this was extremely basic. Should have gone back to KISS principles a lot sooner...
