Since having possible issues with DVB EPG grabbing I have tried the WebEPG plugin which works pretty well. I have ticked the schedule button but it does not wake the PC (in does not attempt to register)
in an older log when I was using DVB EPG and powerscheduler was ticked to grab EPG at 5am you get this in tv.log
but with the same options ticked in the WebEPG plugin I just get
so no EPG handler at all (hence no wake)
I can post all logs if you want but I have been through and there is nothing of note there... the plugin does not appear to have registered the standby handler. I am guessing I can get round this by enabling the EPG grabber options in powerscheduler but this seems a bit overkill as it will try and grab the DVB EPG only to find it is disabled.
