I've recently upgrade my HTPC to Vista, I've also introduced a new 52" Sony LCD.

When I watching a football game this evening I noticed something really weird, all the lines(centre circle, goal area etc) flickered heavily. I tried changing between my available codec(including MPV) but it made no difference. I also tried enabling the builtin MP deinterlacing.

I also tried changing the TV's builtin noice reduction but it made no difference.

I've never seen anything like this in the past, when watching movies everything looks great.

See the attached screenshot taken with my DSLR.

Edit: No, I don't support any of the teams :)

hmmm, this looks you are using BOB deinterlacing of the VideoCard ...

Make sure you are using EVR plus using Automatic Deinterlacing or Vector Adaptive in ATI CCC.

Cool, didn't know you could set that up in CCC. I'll have a look tonight.

    Yes, I'm using EVR.
