Weird problem with Capture card (1 Viewer)

Hi there!

I'm trying to get MediaPortal working with my capture card but I haven't had 100% luck so far.
I'm currently using a Conexant CX 2388X card that has a MPEG-2 encoder.
I using MediaPortal 0.2.0.0 RC2.
When I run Setup MediaPortal I can add my capture card, tune in all channels and add them to a list. Press ok and end the Setup program.
When I start MediaPortal it says that there is no TV card detected. If I run Setup MediaPortal again, my capture card is gone from the list. I can add it again but it dosen't stick.
I use the ASUS PVR 416 drives (2.2.61.0) for the card.

Dose anyone know what the problem is?

Install RC3.
If still no luck then post your log.

I started out with RC 3 but with that version of MediaPortal the program didn't found any capture card at all.
I tried some other things yesterday evning and found out that if I maid the capturecards.xml read only the program found a capture card. (after I conf it in setup).
If I start MediaPortal with this file in read only mode, the setup wizard finds a capture card (but it dosen't show the name). I can make i Frequency scan, sort channel list and map the channels to the grabber.
The OSD-language swithces from Swedish to English when the capture card is found.
After the setup wizard is complete I can't watch TV, it says "no available caputre to show this channel"
Things are getting weirder and weirder but I think I'm making some progress....
