I am having so many problems with standby / resume...
I will schedule shows to record overnight and afte 5 minutes on the home screen MP will go to sleep.
In the morning when i check it, i am greeted with a message " MediaPortal has encountered an error and needs to close "
ANyway, the WAF has dropped as low as it can get.
    I am using a single seat setup with v1.0RC1 + SVN 18951.
    My logs are posted below..
Please help me to pin point the problem... :(

    Thank you

A few settings that may help overall, i may be repeating myself if i've already told you this.

TVServer config, make sure detect cards delay set at 20 secs, Powerscheduler reinitialise tuner enabled, there's also a setting for a resume time prior the the actual prerecord setting i have that at 120 secs.

Mediaportal config general Restart MP on resume setting enabled.
Start delay wait for TVServer enabled.

Hmm have you set up a master\slave server.

    ****UPDATE****

Tried your suggestions paranoid to no avail...
I think i may have to setup a separate TV Server running 24/7...

Apart for this problem, everything else seems to be running great. The HTPC in the lounge room is on 12hrs a day with no issues at all, and the one in the bedroom is on 2hrs a day and is also running great. I have no idea why standby/resume is giving me so much grief.

    cheers

I just wanted to second this issue. Since moving to v1.0, i have had all sorts of random issues with standby including the "unable to connect to slave controller" error, when i only have a single seat setup.

I need to grab my logfiles before i complain any more though :)
