What am I missing? (1 Viewer)

I possibly have the dumbest question ever. I have installed MP and I double clicked on the icon on my desktop to start it. A blue screen pops up and says "initializing direct X" and then it closes and nothing else happens. What am I missing?

Hi, thank you for your reply. I have registered and I have hopefully included everything needed to help me out. I want to eventually build a HTPC and wanted to check out the software on my laptop first.

Never mind... I left my computer to do a windows update and when I arrived home everything worked fine. Thank you!
