Just wondering what codes people use and what you think will give the best quality for me.

What codecs would you use for: TV, XVID/DIVX (SD content), DVD playback?

Currently i am using ffdshow for everything I need and was wondering if i could get better quality from using other codecs?

I also have Real/Quicktime/AC3 Codecs for the stuff that need it.

Do people use post processing? Does it help? What settings do you have?
