Hi, Dont know if this has been brought up before but I have an idea for a new feature.. What I would like is some better way to manage what shows are available to watch. Please let me explain: All my tv shows are on my main PC and access ffrom my Mediaportal PC over the LAN. Now my my Main PC is not always turned on but my Mediaportal PC is on most of the time. The problem with this is that as soon as TV Series does a scan to see what shows are available it finds nothing because my main PC is turned off. So then I go to watch a show and it shows nothing available even if I have turned my main PC on. So every time this happens which is most of the time I have to do a force local scan I know how to fix this of course by setting the options to still show episodes which arent available.. This means it will always show the tv shows it has found before even if my PC is turned off and If I want to watch a show I just make sure PC is turned on and then I click on it. Ok so this should be the end of it.. Unfortunately though because I have set this option to show episodes which arent available, It will still show episodes which I have deleted from my main PC even if I do a force rescan as I have told it to keep episodes not available. So now I have to manually delete episodes from the tv series library which I have deleted. And I also found if I put that deleted episode back on my main PC it wasnt getting picked up as being available again with a force rescan.. What I would like to propose is, some other option which tells tvseries that shows are located remotely and may not always be available.. And then maybe the normal automated scan of folders will not delete any episode it cant find as it may be offline but put an option in the interface to do force rescan and remove any episdes not avaiable as currently if you set the option to keep unavailable episodes it will never remove episodes it cant find when rescanning. That way I make sure my PC is turned on, do a a manual rescan and any episode it does not find it can remove and that way I dont have to manually delete episodes which are no longer available. Either that or maybe in the auto rescan options, if you tell it the episode is located on a remote server if it cannot locate that server due to it being offline, it will hold off on doing the rescan and keep retyring unitl it can reach the remote location.. That way you wont get rescans being done when remote machine offline and there fore removing every episode on the list Thanks
