What to do if tuning details have changed?

So of course the NIT scan should give you the correct transponder details including frequencies. TV source is not magic; my guess is that it does an NIT scan just like TV Server. NIT is the only standard broadcast source for the provider transponder details.</p><p></p><p>Maybe I've misunderstood? If so, can you please confirm what you mean by "exact" and explain why you think the NIT wouldn't contain the correct details.</p><p></p><p></p><p>Well, TV Server has a built in NIT scan function now, so I can only guess that you mean you want to create a tuning detail file. Am I right?</p><p>If so I would say to you that creating a tuning detail file for your provider is not necessary. If you can do an NIT scan then you can get correct tuning details every time without needing a tuning detail file.</p><p>However if you really want to create the file then you can use the details from the scan output or TsWriter log information as explained above.</p><p></p><p>Does this answer your question?</p><p></p><p>PS: For people that use providers which don't broadcast NIT (strange providers!) you can always do an "exhaustive" scan by selecting country "global" and the correct symbol rate for your provider.
