What to do with crystal, MCE and MCE2 ? (2 Viewers)

The new skin from Samsonite is starting to shape up nicely.
He wants to use it as follow up / replacement of MCE.
I think that MCE has it's own look and that mce-2 is looking more like a replacement for Crystal.

so, what to do?

Replace Crystal or MCE with the new skin?

because mce is looking like the original mce from Microsoft and mp must have is own style, It is much better than mce and so it must look different:

Hi,

imho mce2 is nearer to crystal. So, if you want to replace a skin, i think crystal would be the one. Keeping all would be the best, but i know, that the installation is growing to big currently, with all those nice skins.

Feature request: Make it possible to change the skin inside MP (settings) and to download them separatly (also inside). But this has some time...

Me too, I think that both MCE and MCE2 skins are needed, for a first time MP user the MCE is a good step in, then he is familiar with the features in MP maybe he will go to MCE2 that is so nice....

I love MCE, it's neutral and not too fancy and the biggest plus for it IMO is that its very easy to tweak and modify without requiring truck loads of photoshop skills.

One thing that occured to me is that MCE is not VERY dependant on vmr9 and MCE2 is.
