I use Vista Ultimate 32, and when I start timeshift TV fails to display. This is caused by the fact that even if you are logged in as admin in Vista the program will not have full admin rights. Try to run MP as Admin by right clicking on the MP exe file.

In my case I disable Uer Account control in Vista and all is running fine, but Microsoft does not recommend that as you can expose you computer to possible attacks.
