where are all MP files ??? (1 Viewer)

hi,

i wanted to do a complete uninstall of MP to reinstall it because
i wanted to be sure that my actual problems aren't resulting from
a messed up installation.


So first i did a uninstall from programms and functions, than i
deleted the programm folder because there were some files
and folder left.

After that i did a windows search and also deleted all files.


But after i did a reinstall most of my configurations were
back for example custom views for music and video,
general options etc.

So did i miss a folder with configuration files ?

You need to delete a hidden folder, so first thing to do is enable show hidden folders (organize\folder and search options).

Then go to hard disk that MP's installed on default C, look for program DATA and the folder you are looking for is there.

thanks but i know there are hidden folders and deleted following hidden folder

C:\Users\All Users\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal

C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal


Maybe its neccessary to know that i am using VISTA ...

Guessed that, if you have deleted the main team-mediaportal folders (program files\data files) and are not using TVE3 with mssql\mysql that should be sufficient.
