Windows Version: Vista Home Basic

Hi guys, I'm sure this is a real newbie question but I can't find it in the FAQ or by searching so here goes.

I'm trying to debug my setup of a plug in (CoolReciver) and want to watch the logs but I have no idea where the MediaPortal log files are stored in Vista. I'm also new to Vista and find the Vista search is also pretty useless compared to XP and it can't find them either even though I'm logged in as admin.

I know about MP Watchdog and that works, but don't want to perform test runs and examine the logs afterwards, I want to watch the log as it is being written.

So where are they please?

TIA

Thanks for the quick response Owlsroost!

I've had a good look around in that folder and its subfolders but can't see anything. Vista search shows nothing in there, but my Googling indicates that it is very unreliable. I've configured my view settings in Vista to show all files, including hidden files and folders and system files BTW.

Could I trouble you for the full path to one of the log files please?

Are there any files in the mediaportal folder !!

If none found, open MP config and there is a link at the top left to user files, would be interested to know where they are ;)
