OK - folks generally. I have made a bit of progress. I have now got to the stage that the ir receiver flashes, and the remote reports it is changing channels (that is, the channel names and current program appear under the live tv picture - and these appear to change correctly when I press the up/down channel button on the remote). Unfortunately the channels don't actually change but I think this is to do with either the position of the bud or, more likely, my channel configs - back to that later. Now - this is what I did: 1. Opened MP setup, went to remotes/plugins and enabled the myblaster plugin by right clicking on it and choosing enable. Then tried running blaster.exe from outside MP. No luck - the learn and test buttons remained greyed out. 2. Then I downloaded the newer blaster files called myblaster_extra.zip. I extracted the files and placed blaster.exe in the MP root folder, and the dll file in MP/plugins/process as per previous posts. I ran blaster.exe outside MP (i.e with MP closed down). Hey presto - the learn and test buttons are now available. 3. I highlighted the 0 (zero) under stb1 and clicked on learn. This gives you a 10 second timer to teach it the stb remote. I put the stb remote a few centimetres away from the ir receiver and pressed the 0 (zero) on the stb remote. Immediately it was recognised - entering a string of numbers on the right of the screen and naming the stb as a Pace 3100 (Pace sky digibox). It showed the Port as Port 1 so I left it that way. I also left the delay, and all other options as they were as defaults. 4. When I clicked on the test button the cursor jumped to, and highlighted the 0 under stb 1. As second press made it jump to 0 under stb 2. Success m'thought? 5. I then highlighted the number 1 under stb 1 and clicked on learn - thus repeating the steps above for all the numbers and "select". 6. I then closed blaster.exe and fired up MP. The results were as described at the top of this post with regard to the up/down channel button. Also - pressing a sample channel number on the mce remote (for example 101 for BBC1) produced the correct numbers on the top of the MP screen and the correct channel number and current program details under the full screen tv picture. Again, though, the channel didn't actually change. I had to use the sky stb remote to change the channel. However, this looks like a bit of progress to me  Now - onto the channel config. Can anyone help me out with how their channels are configured? Basically, I have used a command prompt to setup and then download my epg (using the radio times grabber - anyone wanting to know how to do that - just ask). I put the tvguide xmltv file under c:\xmltv and it works fine in MP - that is, at least it appears in MP with the correct times, channel number/names and text for program content. It will allow me to click on a program and record it (though I still have to change to the correct channel by using the stb remote). In the channel section of the MP setup program, under Television/TV Channels, I have the list of channels, all ticked. Each one is set up using the following procedure: E.G for BBC1: Right click on BBC1 and set it up using the "External Tab" and choosing "Received by external stb". The "Input" I set as CVBS#1 to correspond to my composite leads going from the sky box (via a scart socket) to the PCs haup 150mce card. In the "Channel Number" box I entered BBC1's channel number as 101. That is the number I have to press on the sky stb remote to get BBC1. I then repeated this laborious process for each channel.  Can anyone tell me if this is right, or has any ideas about where to go from here? Smirnuff - it is helpful to have the man (?) him/herself here to help out. We DO appreciate the time and effort you put in. Could you post the dat file/s you speak about in the immediate earlier posts - if you think that would help us. I think we are so close to getting a sky digibox up and running with correct channel change. I - for one - would be more than willing to write this up as a sticky if we can get it to work? Thnx to all RJ
