Can you please try to describe in what way it is Jerky? Are you loosing frames? A common source of jerkyness is mismatched framrates and monitor update frequencys.

Are you in PAL or NTSC-county? Do you have a CRT/computer monitor/Projector/TFT/Plasma? What refresh rate are you using for your display?
