I’m working on an update to MediaPortal that involves the TVEngine & MediaPortal code (adding support for weekdays that starts on Sunday).

I found out that I need to update code lines in allot of places.
I read that V1.1.0 will drop the TVE2, so I wish to work only on updating TVE3, the problem is that I don’t now how to distinguish between the TVE3 & TVE2 code in the SVN.

Can some one help me with this?

    Thanks,
    Bob

TV-Server/Client are packaged separately from the TV2 code....so I would say that you will only have to edit the TV-Server/Client source....

    Thanks,
But what do you mean in “edit the TV-Server/Client source”?
I see no “Server” or “Client” project / folder in the TVEngine3 source code.

I’m quite sure that I should update the TvLibrary ->Service -> TVService and the TvPlugin code, but I see no Server/Client text there.

    Do I miss some thing?

Your original question asked how to "distinguish between the TVE3 & TVE2 code"....the TV-Server code is together under the "TvEngine3/" path and TV2 is under the "MediaPortal/" path in the following link

    SourceForge.net Repository - [mediaportal] Index of /tags/Release 1.0.2

So if you only want to edit the TV3-Server and Client code, but not TV2 code....then only edit the code under the "TvEngine3/" path...
