Hi,

on this link, you can find a piece of video (8,7MB TS file) I've recorded with MediaPortal.

I can play that piece of video perfectly with VLC or KM player (both have internal codecs)

But I would like to play such TS-files with other players without internal codecs, like wmp or bsplayer.
The problem is that with this programs, I have video but no audio.

I've tried a lot of codecs/splitters, but didn't find the right ones. (like Haali media splitter, ac3 filter, ... )
I also tried the most popular codecpacks like K-lite or CCCP without success.

Can anyone advise me which codecs I have to use so i have video + audio ?

I need the same help. I can play ISO, AVI etc, but cannot play TS.

I have the extension set, but cannot figure out what codecs and player setting I need.

Step by step would be helpful.

Thanks,

I have read several questions about getting .ts videos to play in Mediaportal, but have not found any clear cut solutions. Sorry if I missed them

Here is what I have done.

Fresh XP Pro install, all windows updates. installed all requirements for mediaportal 1.1, i first tried 1.0.2

.ts by default is in the extensions list.

I got the iso files playing.

But what is next for .ts videos. If I need to buy something thats fine, just let me know. I have many ts vidoes that I cannot view with mediaplayer.

Help.
