Which external TV-Card can you recommend for a notebook?

I want to record / schedule cable junction TV programs. Watch the records may be on TV or notebook, may be on a HTPC later, when I would have one.

Win 7, 64 bit I have.

Do you wanna watch TV and record another program at the same time
    Yes, that would be good.

Actually, I do not know, what I could get, I have any idea of it all, when I could do the same what I can do with a Video Recorder or a Hard Disk Recorder it would be okay, I assume.

Yes, I have seen the German forum, thanks for the link and help.

To be honest I don't know if there exists a USB dual tuner (which you need for recording + TV at the same time. - unless the programs you wanna record use the same transponder, if the programs use the same transponder you need only one tuner to watch and record; for example: RTL & VOX are on the same transponder so you can watch RTL and record VOX at the same time even if you got only one tuner)

Do you use DVB-C? If yes, which provider? (I have KabelBW)

So I hope, the programs use the same transponder...or use two external TV-Cards...?...

Yes, it should be DVB-C, I have, analog Cabel or so (also). The provider...I am not sure, I have to ask next time, find out, may be Kabel Deutschland.

Yes. You can use two USB cards. :)
But it is better (better picture quality and easier to configure too I guess) if you could use DVB-C. (digital)
