since this service ensures that shortcuts and OLE (Object Linking and Embedding) links continue to work after the target file is renamed or moved, I prefer this setting.</p><p>> Event Log</p><p>> HTTP SSL - because my PC is not a dedicated HTPC, I prefer this setting because it establishes a secure communications channel to prevent the interception of critical information, such as credit card numbers. </p><p>> Logical Disk Manager</p><p>> Network Connections</p><p>> Plug and Play</p><p>> Print Spooler - since I have a printer connected to my computer</p><p>> Protected Storage - similar to HTTP SSL, I prefer this setting because it provides protected storage for sensitive data, such as private keys, to prevent access by unauthorized services processes or users, and the storage location provided by this service is secure and protected from modification. </p><p>> Remote Access Connection Manager</p><p>> Remote Procedure Call (RPC)</p><p>> Security Accounts Manager - When it is set to automatic, I find an IPSec error listed in my Event Log and have not found a fix or workaround that resolves it.
