While Watching movies in Video_TS folders, sometimes can not exit out

For now, i'm not using a tv card. i may add that later but i don't really record much tv. i am using it right now as a "movie on demand". i'm ripping all of my dvd's i own onto the hard drive in the same format that they were on the dvd (Video_TS and Audio_TS folders with all original files). so when i am in My Videos, all i do is click on the movie icon and the movie starts right up (with help from Daemon Tools).</p><p>everything works pretty much exactly how i want it, except for one thing. On some movies when i start watching, i can't stop/pause/exit out. it's not for all, and as you can see in the mediaportal.log file, there are 2 basic entries for movies. (i picked 2 that i knew 1 would work and 1 wouldn't work). First is the entry for the one that doesn't work, Talk Radio. </p><p>there's the specific entry:</p><p></p><p>this entry shows up a few times, i'm assuming however many times i tried hitting escape.</p><p></p><p>Further down, you will see the entry for the movie Caddyshack. This one when i want to back out to the menus allows me with no problems. It also shows the progress bar if i move my mouse up to the top of the screen, and allows me to right-click whereas the Talk Radio does neither.</p><p></p><p>Can anyone give me any ide of why this is doing this? It's just annoying that i can't pause or stop some videos once they start. To get out of the ones that don't work, i have to hit Alt-Enter, escape full screen and then stop MediaPortal. this also sometimes gives me the crash popup when doing this.</p><p></p><p>thanks for any help. if there's any additional info needed, please let me know.</p></blockquote><p></p>
