yeah, this helps a lot. thanks for help eabin and est68 . i think i try dvb-c with mediaportal.the channels in germany are unscrambled by my tv provider. i want to build an homeserver (based on windows 2003 sbs) with mediaportal (as tv server) and use it in lan with tv server and mediaportal.
