You are all to kind for helping. Thanks again. I'm not very computer literate so I have a few questions... Ok. So you think the problem with playing movies has to do with the connection my client is trying to make to my TV server? If I zip this dll, should I post it like I did with my logs or are you suggesting that I zip it so that it removes it from the system (kind of an alternative to moving to another folder)? I'll also remove the power scheduler. Now is this a plug in in the TV server that I should disable or in the client? I'll leave MS sql 2012 alone at this time ( I think someone else said that it was working for them so I installed it instead of MySql as I was going to also use for the record to schedule TV recordings once I got my TV card working (which now seems so far away). Once I do these changes should I re-post the logs (don't answer this, I'll just repost them :) ? -S PS. Got my system spec's update.
